Near the city of Arusha and the Kenyan border lies another scenic highlight of Tanzania, Arusha National Park. It's heart is the 4566 meter high Mount Meru, which is a popular destination for mountaineers. The park has an incredible variety of flora and fauna, which cannot fail to impress. Hollywood also chose this park to film the movie “Hartari” in which Hardy Kruger starred alongside the legendary John Wayne. Arusha National Park lives a quiet life next to its siblings: Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater. Only few travelers visit the park, which is a pity, because with its unique vegetation Arusha National Park is surely worth a visit or two. Between Mount Meru and Ngurdoto Crater are the Lakes of Momella, which are characterized by swamps, grasslands and montane forest. The mountain slopes of Mount Meru are covered by tropical rainforest, which make a nice contrast. Our Package Includes;
