8 Days Northern circuit migration safari in Tanzania

HIGHLIGHTS

Destinations: Serengeti national Park, Ngorongoro conservation Area, Lake Manyara National park, Tarangire National Park, Arusha National park, Lake Eyasi and Lake Natron. Tour program and route, the tour will starts with Arusha National park on day one, then Tarangire national park on day 2, then the next day (day3) will be for the tour in Lake Natron. Day four will be for the Ngorongoro conservation Area (Crater) while day 5&6 will be for the Serengeti national park tour and the next day (day 7) will be for the Bushman tour in Lake Eyasi. Finally the tour will end up to Lake Manyara National park on day 8 and back to Arusha town. The tour description for 8 days will be based on the, specific day, destination to be visited; activities while in the specific destination and specific day, meal plan, time and distance and place for an overnight.

Day 1 : Arusha National Park

Destination description and attractions;

this is the closest park near Arusha town which is the short distance from Arusha town. There are several attractions that you can visit and see such as the montane forest which is a habitat of blue monkeys, the black and white colobus, the Ngurudoto crater, buffalos, warthogs, the Momela Lake with thousands of flamingos, waterfowls, waterbucks. Moreover you can see other animals such as giraffe, zebras, hyena, cheetah and the like. Activities; In Arusha National park activities will depend on the tourist choice as they can do game drive, walking tour, or hiking the Mount Meru. Hence the activities will be travel from Arusha town to Arusha national park, game driving/walking tours/Mount Meru hiking and drive back to Arusha town. Meal Plan: Breakfast in Arusha town, Lunch in Arusha National Park picnic and dinner in Arusha town Overnight: In one of the Hotel in Arusha town Time and Distance: 08:00Am departure time from the hotel in Arusha, 2hrs drive from Arusha Town to Arusha National park gate which a distance of 130km drive, 8hrs for any of the tours and head to Arusha town for an overnight.

Day 2 : Tarangire national park

Destination Description and attractions:

Tarangire is the wildlife based destination with the unique features of the big elephant herd and the old and large sized baobab trees. There are also other wildlife animals and birds. Activities: Travel from Arusha town to Tarangire National Park, Game driving in the park, Drive from the park to MtowaMbu near Lake Manyara Meal Plan: Breakfast in Arusha town, Lunch in Tarangire National Park picnic and dinner in MtowaMbu. Overnight: In any of either of the tented camp or lodge (guest choice) in MtowaMbu near lake Manyara. Time and Distance: 08:00Am departure time from the hotel in Arusha, 2hrs drive from Arusha Town to Tarangire National park gate which a distance of 120km drive, 8hrs game driving and head to MtowaMbu for an overnight.

Day 3 :Lake Natron Tour

Destination Description and attractions:

Lake Natron is the mineral rich soda lake in the Northern of Tanzania which is at the border with Kenya. The destination is well known due to it being the bleeding ground for thousands of lesser flamingo. It is the red water Lake, and found below below the volcanic OldonyoLengai which is an active volcano in the rift valley. Activities: A drive from MtowaMbu to Lake Natron, a walking tour and a drive from lakeNatron to MtowaMbu for dinner and overnight. Meal Plan: Breakfast at MtowaMbu, Lunch will be hot lunch in one of the local restaurant in Lake Natron and dinner in MtowaMbu. Overnight: In any of either of the tented camp or lodge (guest choice) in MtowaMbu near lake Manyara. Time and Distance: 08:00Am departure time from MtowaMbu, 1hr45mins drive from MtowaMbu to Lake Natron which a distance of 116km drive, 8hrs walking tour and lunch and head to MtowaMbu for an overnight.

Day 4 : the Serengeti National Park

Destination Description and attractions

the park is one of the natural heritage site in Tanzania, it delivered its name from the Maasai language “Siringiti” that means an endless plain. The park is well known due to the annual wildebeest migration, whereby thousands of wildebeest and hundreds of zebra migrate from Serengeti to the Maasai Mara Reserve in Kenya. The park has several attractions such as wild animals including the big five, birds, acacia trees, kopjes, the plain grassland and the wildebeest migration. Activities: A drive from MtowaMbu through the rim of Ngorongoro Crater to Serengeti, En route game drive, drive to the accommodation activities for dinner and overnight. Meal Plan: Breakfast at MtowaMbu, Lunch will be lunch box at Naabi Hill picnic site and dinner in The Serengeti National Park. Overnight: In any of either of the tented camp or lodge (guest choice) in the Serengeti National Park. Day 5 : the Serengeti National Park

Day 6 : Bush man village tour (hadzabe tribe) in Lake Eyasi

Destination Description and attractions:

: lake Eyasi is well known due to the authentic tribe of the Hadzabe people, who lives in the jungle and obtain their food via hunting and this feature has made them being nicknamed as the Bushman of Tanzania. Here you will be able to learn the hadzabe culture and the survival skills in the jungle, such as hunting skills and fishing skills and other wild surviving skills. Activities: Morning breakfast, walking tours in the village, hunting, spot fishing and drive to the MtowaMbu near lake Manyara for dinner and overnight. Meal Plan: Breakfast at the accommodation facilities at Lake Eyasi, Lunch will be hot lunch at one of the restaurant in the village and dinner in MtowaMbu. Day 7 : Ngorongoro Conservation Area (Crater descending and ascending)

Destination Description and attractions

Ngorongoro conservation area is one of the unique world heritage sites as a mixed land use, where the Maasai tribe meets with the wild animals. The area is well known due to the caldera, where you can find the big five animals and other animals while descending and ascending in the crater. The rim of the crater has a great view and has made it being nicknamed as the Garden of Eden; hence expect to see the Maasai people in the area too. Activities: A drive from MtowaMbu to Ngorongoro conservation area, Crater descending and ascending and a drive from Ngorongoro Conservation area to MtowaMbu for dinner and overnight. Meal Plan: Breakfast at MtowaMbu, Lunch will be lunch box in the Ngorongoro Crater and dinner in MtowaMbu. Overnight: In any of either of the tented camp or lodge (guest choice) in MtowaMbu near lake Manyara. Day 8 : Lake Manyara National park

Destination Description and attractions;

; Manyara national park is the park with the wildlife reserve and the lake Manyara reserve. The park is unique because of the legend tree climbing lions and the rose feathered flamingos, along the lake. With it being small, the park is well blessed with wild animals and birds that you can see them everywhere in the park. Activities: Morning breakfast, games drive tour with lunch box at one of the picnic in the park and drive to Arusha town for dinner and overnight. Meal Plan: Breakfast at the accommodation facilities at MtowaMbu, Lunch will be lunch box at one of the picnic site in the park and dinner in Arusha town. Overnight: In any of either of the hotel in Arusha town. Time and Distance: 02:00Am pick up from the accommodation facility, 8hrs game drive and 2hrs drive from Lake Manyara National park to Arusha town which is the distance of 125km drive.
